The residents of the village, including many elderly people and children, have experienced a lot of suffering. Since they almost never have electricity available, they are not warned of an imminent shelling via the air alarm and thus cannot get to safety. There are no pharmacies or hospitals, and it is almost impossible to reach the nearest medical facility.
UHSG is determined to bring hope to the southern region of Ukraine, where we focus our efforts in the Kherson and the Odesa regions. Against the backdrop of ongoing conflicts our team provides vital assistance in delivering medical care and assisting in the emotional support to those most in need.
Thanks to our partners, action medeor e.V. and "Culture of Democracy", we were able to implement this important project.
