UHSG continues to provide hope and support in the southern regions of Ukraine, particularly in the Odesa region. We deliver essential medical care, including palliative care, as well as emotional support to the most vulnerable populations.
The primary goal of palliative care is to improve the quality of life for patients and their families who face life-threatening illnesses. This is achieved by preventing and relieving suffering through early diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of pain, along with addressing other physical, psychosocial, and spiritual issues.
Local residents express sincere gratitude for the assistance they receive, noting that such support helps them survive in conditions of constant danger and lack of basic medical services. Thanks to the efforts of charitable organizations, many patients receive the necessary palliative care, which significantly improves their lives and reduces suffering.

Thanks to our partnership with German Doctors, we have been able to implement numerous palliative care projects. This partnership allows us to provide essential medications for the treatment of chronic diseases, baby food, and hygiene products.
